Express Entry

Express Entry (EE) is an online system used by the Government of Canada to process applications for permanent residence through one of three major programs:

How does Express Entry work? 🤔

Express Entry is not an immigration program in itself, but rather an online system designed to manage the receipt of immigration applications to Canada. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for any of the three programs can submit an online profile known as Expression of Interest (EOI).

The profiles are classified according to the Comprehensive Classification System (CRS), based on points. The candidates with the highest scores receive a Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. After receiving the ITA, applicants must submit a completed application and pay the government fees within 60 days.

You can see how many points the last ones have been at invitation rounds here.

This program is specifically designed for applicants with skilled work experience in Canada.
